The information contained in this Site, including but not limited to the rules that govern the use of the Site, is subject to change without notice. Your use of the Site following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the rules as changed.

Sales Tax

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to comply and remit any applicable state sales tax to the state of delivery or residence (excluding Pennsylvania where we will apply and charge sales tax).

Credit Card Charges

FenceAuthority.com accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and PayPal.  By entering your credit card info. and clicking  "complete order" you are authorizing FenceAuthority.com to charge your account for the total price stated.

Pricing

The prices of the products on this website are for “MATERIALS ONLY.” Labor is not included. If you live within our Installation region you can call for an installed price quote.
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price posted on the date of purchase is only price available.

Order Acceptance

The receipt of an order number or an email order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. The Fence Authority reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or to refuse service to any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.
Upon acceptance, all sales are final – Sorry, we cannot allow products to be returned - no returns.


Made To Order or Custom Items

All items not listed as “In Stock” on this website must be acquired or produced by The Fence Authority and are therefore considered Custom and are not returnable.


Material Shortages/Overages

The Fence Authority is not responsible for material shortages or overages for self installed fences. The Fence Authority cannot foresee field conditions or design changes that may change during installation.  The Fence Authority will provide the best estimate based on information provided by the purchaser.


All Itemized material takeoffs that are computer generated lists based on the diagram entered by The Fence Authority Fence Consultants while on site are to be confirmed as accurate by the purchaser.


Material Delivery

The Fence Authority is not responsible for the safety of any materials delivered to a site that is unsupervised or when the purchaser is not available to sign and confirm the material delivery.
All deliveries are truck side. This means The Fence Authority will only unload directly next to the company truck. The Fence Authority will not drive the delivery truck off of paved or surfaces.


The Fence Authority is not responsible for any damage to the ground, which may result from material drop or from truck tires during delivery.


Failure by The Fence Authority to meet estimated delivery dates is not grounds for cancellation without liquidation charges, and The Fence Authority is not liable for loss or damage due to such an occurrence.


Product Weathering

The Fence Authority is not responsible for “PRODUCT WEATHERING” while products wait for purchaser pick up or purchaser release for delivery.

Pool Fences

When purchasing fence for swimming pools, it is the responsibility of the consumer to verify with local municipalities that the style of fence being purchased meets the local pool code. Many of our products meet the BOCA and IRC codes. The Fence Authority shall be held harmless from any and all arising liabilities.


Matching Existing Fence

From time to time we update or modify the specifications of our fences to reflect changing product lines and better ideas.  It is the purchaser’s responsibility to inform The Fence Authority when attempting to match an existing fence, whether previously purchased from The Fence Authority or from a competitor, and provide all necessary information and specifications.

Wood Fence

Wood Fencing does not have any warranty. Wood is a live, natural product and we cannot control nor can we warrant warping. Manufacturer warranties are valid on aluminum and vinyl fences.
Split rail is a rustic product.  The wood may be rough, discolored and extremely rustic in some cases. We cannot allow sorting of the less desirable pieces.

Railing

The Fence Authority makes no representations that the railings offered meet any safety or other codes.  It is the responsibility of the consumer to verify that the railing being purchased meets any local, state or national codes. The Fence Authority shall be held harmless from any and all arising liabilities.
